OUR MISSION
It is the mission of the Companion Animal Resource and Adoption Center, Inc. to place homeless animals from the Greater Milwaukee Area into loving, permanent homes as well as to provide community outreach programs in order to secure a better future for all companion animals.

VISION FOR THE FUTURE

  • To eliminate unnecessary euthanasia procedures and be the voice for animals at the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission and throughout the greater Milwaukee area
  • To establish a long-term, high quality adoption program for companion animals
  • To partner with other humane welfare organizations with respect and compassion to maximize resources and be recognized as setting the standard for excellence
  • To provide behavior counseling for adopters and members of the greater Milwaukee community so that companion animals do not require unnecessary re-homing
  • To be available to the greater Milwaukee community to re-home unwanted companion animals when necessary
  • To establish a humane education program available to the greater Milwaukee community so that we can raise generations of compassionate advocates to promote the ongoing needs of companion animals
  • To accept the challenge of establishing a spay/neuter assistance program and veterinary wellness care program available to all members of the greater Milwaukee community
  • To be accountable for our performance and our organization’s success, and be recognized for our achievements
